Melbourne to New Delhi

Had an early morning wake up call from Pat at 4am as he had decided we had slept enough! I think I heard him say “gotta get up and feed the chooks”. After a Yummo breakfast at the Parkroyal, we walked across to the international terminal.

Checked in for our flight and then walked through duty free. Ended up have an Aperol Spritz shot at 7am in the morning. It was free!

A looooong flight, 13 hours. Watched a few movies and ate lots of food.

Arrived into New Delhi about 6pm. Walked outside the airport to find our transport people. I’d been warned that it was overwhelming when you first leave the airport, but it wasn’t too bad. There were a lot of people and it was very loud, but still ok.

After a 40 minute hairy car ride, we arrived at the Treebo Citi Hotel about 9pm. Went to bed to recharge.
