Woke up super early at about 4am. Went down to breakfast in the hotel of rice, bread and omelettes.

Left the hotel to go for a walk and some tuk tuk drivers convinced us to go with them for a bit of a tour. Because it’s a Sunday, nothing opens until around 10am so we were very early.

The tuk tuk drivers drove us to the Parliament House. Lots of military with machine guns around. Saw monkeys on the lawn. Was a bit like seeing kangaroos at home….they were everywhere.

Then we went to India gate which is a war memorial monument. More people with machine guns.

Had a mango lassi drink which is bit like a sweet yogurt drink. Looked around the shops and then came back to the hotel for a little while.

We found this really cool bar called My Bar and then proceeded to drink too much (well I did anyway, lightweight that I am!). A couple of margaritas and a pina colada along with some really yummy food.

We all came back to the hotel for a rest before meeting the rest of our tour friends at 6pm for a meet and greet.
